On the 26th January 2026 aged 98 years at the Freeman Hospital.

William (Bill) beloved husband of the late Blanche and dearly loved dad of Ken, Pam and Gill and dearly loved father in law of Marilyn, Norman and Stu and much loved and cherished grandad and great grandad, brother of Anne and the late Danny.

Service to be held at the West Road Crematorium on Thursday 19th February at 12.30pm.

All welcome afterwards at the Benwell Cricket Club.

So sorry to read this about Bill. A True Gentleman, it was always a pleasure to see and talk to Bill. Blanche also lasting memories of a childhood growing up in Byker. Deepest sympathy to Ken, Pam & Gill snd all their families. R.I.P. Bill .
